Captain Rex Phase II (Realistic Style) Finished Helmet (Ahsoka)
Everyones favourite Clone Captain!
When we designed this helmet from scratch we wanted it to be as accurate and realistic as humanly possible, blending the Clone Trooper Phase 1 and Phase 2 Helmets together with Rex’s iconic weld marks. As we were figuring out how to do it we ended up saying: “Why don’t we just do what Rex did?” So that’s what we did! We designed both respective Phase 1 and Phase 2 helmets first, digitally chopped them up and pieced it back together! We think it’s one of the most realistic renditions out there.
Many versions of this helmet are impossible to fit over your head due to the size of the bottom hole and people design with removable parts that leave visible seems. We however wanted to stay true to it's original design so we found the sweet spot of widening the bottom hole without it looking too abstract, whilst retaining the neck collar.
*Please Note - This is a fully finished hand made Helmet, 3d printed from my own design, built, filled, primed and custom painted.
