AT-AT Pilot Helmet 3D Print Files (The Empire Strikes Back)
AT-AT Pilot Helmet 3D Print Files (The Empire Strikes Back)
*PLEASE NOTE - These are 3D Print files, not a physical helmet.
The OG!
AT-AT pilots, also known as AT-AT Drivers, were Imperial combat drivers specialised in operating the Imperial Army's AT-AT walkers. Working in groups of two, they operated the walker's driving and firing controls, and were, in certain cases, overseen by a commander who also occupied the walker's cockpit.
As the AT-AT pilot helmet was adapted for the second film using the same mould as the Imperial Tie Fighter Pilot helmet, we did exactly the same! We took our highly accurate TFP helmet and modelled the additional greeblies, researching the original scratch build parts for the highest detail possible.
We’ve designed the rear gas canisters to join with magnets (please see below for size) to make it easier to get on and off when cosplaying with the chest box (tbd).
The Main large pipe is just a place holder. You can print it if you like but we recommend using a real vacuum hose with a 1" outer diameter, 3/4" inner diameter.
The smaller side greeblie pipes around the mask are a printable part with male/female glue points. You could use a real smaller hose here but you will have to cut/melt through the top of the helmet to insert.
The eye visors are included to print in clear resin or be vacuum formed or moulded.
The rebreathers come with special collar surrounds for even more accuracy of how they plugged the pipe holes for the films.
We’ve included a special commpad alternative back to the standard pill box as this was a rare screen used addition to the Tie Fighter Pilot helmet.
There are two versions of the face mask; an open nose grill version to add real wire mesh to or an original solid face version to paint.
We’ve also included a printable wire mesh to use in place of window screen for the open nose grill version.
If you have a small printer bed there's pre cut versions of the main helmet and face in the 'SPLIT' folder in 2 halves, 4 and 8 parts.
There is also a whole ‘one part’ version of the helmet in both 100% and 1/6 scale.
As always, all parts are of course seperate for easier printing, building and painting.
