Fat Boat Zombie 1:1 Life size Bust 3D Print Files (Zombie Flesh Eaters/Zombi 2. 1979)
Fat Boat Zombie 1:1 Life size Bust 3D Print Files (Zombie Flesh Eaters/Zombi 2, 1979)
*PLEASE NOTE - These are 3D Print files, not a physical mask.
“The boat can leave now. Tell the crew.”
Zombie Flesh Eaters is one of my favourite ever zombie movies! You may know it by a different title - it has many! When George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead came out in Italy, it was simply called Zombi, so when Lucio Fulci made Zombie Flesh Eaters, his film was famously titled Zombi 2 to cash in on the craze.
There's so much trivia surrounding this film! Like many famous Italian directors working in the genre, Fulci had previously worked on a variety of films, including erotic thrillers and other exploitation cinema called Giallo films. When the zombie craze swept the world, Italian filmmakers jumped on board and started directing some of the most ultra-gory zombie horror films ever made.
It's an utterly unique film. Set on a tropical island paradise, Zombie Flesh Eaters is one of the few zombie movies where the cause of the plague is rooted in supernatural forces. In this case, it's Woodoo (yet another alternate title!).
The cast was a mixture of none English speaking Italian and American actors, so Fulci just dubbed the entire film in post-production.
It has the famous eye ball popping scene and how can we forget; zombie vs shark!
Not to mention, it has one of the best soundtracks ever put on film!
The actor who played Fat Boat Zombie (that’s his credited name, not our description) was ironically played by an actor called Captain Haggerty. While filming on location in New York City, he reportedly entered the famous punk venue CBGB in full zombie makeup, complete with extensive fake blood and dry mud. Apparently, he went unnoticed by the patrons, and the bartender served him without commenting on his appearance!
Here we've recreated a highly detailed model in his wonderful likeness. Included are a life-size 1:1 scale bust, a 1:2 scale bust and a 1:6 scale bust.
We think stands are highly personal and can often end up being quite cheesy and ruining the prop, so we've deliberately not designed one, allowing you to make your own to suit your tastes!
The life-size version measures 395mm tall and has a hole to fit a 1" (2.54cm) diameter stand.
Due to the large file size you will be given a PDF with download link to our Google drive File Vault. *Please Note - You may need a valid Gmail address. Please allow us time to grant access.
Included in these files are:
• Fat Boat Zombie Bust 1:1 Life-Size Scale
• Fat Boat Zombie Bust 1:2 Scale
• Fat Boat Zombie Bust 1:6 Scale
We are extremely proud of this model!
