Imperial Royal Guard Helmet 3D Print Files (Return of the Jedi)

*PLEASE NOTE - These are 3D Print files, not a physical helmet.

The most intimidating OG Guard helmet ever!

They have many names; the Imperial Royal Guard, also named the Emperor's Royal Guard and Imperial Guard, or alternatively identified as the Crimson Guard, and known under the Galactic Republic as simply the Red Guard, were the personal bodyguards to the Galactic Emperor. In addition to strict requirements of size, strength, intelligence, and loyalty, only the most skilled soldiers in the Imperial Military qualified for duty in the Royal Guard.

We aimed to design this helmet with a genuine loving homage in accuracy, to it’s first appearance in Return of the Jedi. Size, shape and contours are all accurate to the original prop. Contours are smooth and bevelled except for the collar bone area which we kept sharp. Above the visor is thinner in the centre than the edges. And aesthetically, for people building who want strict accuracy - the visors on these are originally dark red, although ‘smoke’ is accepted by 501st if you’re submitting a costume.

Included in this pack is the helmet as a whole one part model - Pre split (so zero seem lines) including fixed visor, in 100% Scale and 1/6th Scale for figure makers, as well as a version carefully separated along the natural seems of the helmet in order to print more efficiently and join together afterwards. We’ve also done a second, third and fourth split of these parts separating the largest bits into 2 halves, 4 and 8 pieces to fit on smaller printer beds.

The visor also comes separated as naturally curved to cast or vacuum form from as well as a flat printable template.
