Leatherface Mask 3D Print Files (Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III 1990) (Copy)
Leatherface Mask 3D Print Files (Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III 1990)
*PLEASE NOTE - These are 3D Print files, not a physical mask.
“The saw is family”
Let’s be honest, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III is not a good film, in fact it’s terrible. But it does have Ken Foree in it from Dawn of the Dead fame - and a young Viggo Mortensen (yes Aragorn!), as well as a pretty funny 80’s c*ck rock soundtrack. They took one of the scariest films ever made and turned it into a black comedy cash grab. That being said though, as pretty much a rehash of the original story, it is kind of fun and I actually think it’s one of Leatherface’s scariest masks in the series. There’s just something about the shape of the mouth and the different skin tones stitched together that genuinely is very creepy.
Played by R.A. Mihailoff in this one, we took photos of the (now completely rotten) original screen used mask, film clips and various recreations to design a faithful 3d model in all it’s gory detail!
This one is a little thicker than the 1974 one. To find the right balance between being thick enough to 3d print - and not too thick to deter from it being a second skin mask, we have made it at 5mm wall thickness. We highly recommend reinforcing the inside of the mask with fibre glass resin with (or without) fibre (or similar hardener) before sanding to strengthen the structure of the mask.
Printed at 100% scale the mask fits a head of 60cm circumference.
Included in these files are:
• Leatherface 1990 Mask
We are extremely proud of this Mask!
