“Who will survive and what will be left of them?”
Here we have one of the most iconic slasher horror characters in history: Leatherface! First introduced in Tobe Hooper's legendary 1974 film, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Leatherface has had some truly terrifying looks over the years. This collection brings together six different mask designs spanning the original 1974 classic, Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990), the 2003 remake and its 2006 prequel.
From the original stitched-together skin mask to the infamous Pretty Woman Mask, the creepy 1990 version, the terrifying 2003 remake design and the distinctive half mask from The Beginning, this collection has a fantastic range of Leatherface looks for horror fans and collectors.
THE SIX MASKS
• 1974 Leatherface Mask – With Mouth
A faithful recreation of the original screen-used mask, complete with Gunner Hansen's mouth and beautiful teeth.
• 1974 Leatherface Mask – Without Mouth
The same iconic mask without the mouth, for a screen-accurate alternative. Includes separate left and right wires that can be 3D printed or replaced with real wire, fitting into place inside the mask.
• 1974 Pretty Woman Mask
The infamous mask worn during the unforgettable dinner scene and Leatherface's terrifying pursuit of Sally. A must-have version of this classic design. And a fun fact: during the final chainsaw dance, Gunner Hansen swung a running, gas-powered Poulan 245A with its teeth intact, just inches from his face and the camera crew! The slippery road, limited visibility and genuine exhaustion made the scene even more intense.
• 1990 Leatherface Mask – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III
I'll be honest, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III isn't a great film, but it does have Ken Foree, a young Viggo Mortensen and a pretty entertaining 80s rock soundtrack! Despite its flaws, I genuinely think this is one of Leatherface's creepiest masks. The unusual mouth shape and contrasting skin tones stitched together make it seriously unsettling. We used photographs of the now-rotten original screen-used mask, film footage and various recreations to capture its gory details.
• 2003 Leatherface Mask – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
I've really grown to love this remake over the years. Its gritty, terrifying atmosphere, memorable characters and sinister family dynamics make it a fantastic reimagining of the original. Andrew Bryniarski's Leatherface is brilliantly intimidating, while R. Lee Ermey as Sheriff Hoyt adds another layer of menace. We've recreated the mask with faithful attention to the original design, including the stitched side parting at the top, shortened slightly so it can blend more naturally into a wig.
• 2006 Leatherface Half Mask – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Andrew Bryniarski returns as Leatherface, with R. Lee Ermey as Uncle Charlie Hewitt, in this brutal origin story. This distinctive half mask gives us a different look at Leatherface, leaving us wondering whether it's made from human or animal skin. We've faithfully recreated the unusual strap arrangement seen in the film, with the upper strap passing over the top of the head rather than around the back. The straps are deliberately left off because they're too thin to print accurately, allowing you to add your own real leather straps instead. We recommend joining them with E6000 glue.
PRINTING & PREPARATION
The masks have been designed to balance printability with the thin, second-skin appearance of the original props. Wall thickness varies between approximately 3mm and 5mm, depending on the mask.
We highly recommend printing with 4 walls and reinforcing the inside of the masks with fibreglass resin, with or without fibre, or a suitable hardener, before sanding to strengthen the structure.
Printed at 100% scale, the full masks fit a head circumference of approximately 60cm.
SIX ICONIC MASKS. ONE HORRIFIC COLLECTION.
Whether you're a lifelong fan of the original, love the remakes, or simply want to build your own collection of Leatherface masks, this bundle brings six distinct designs together for just £45 instead of £72 — saving you £27 (37.5%)!
We are extremely proud of this collection! We hope you ahve as much fun building them as we did designing them!
