Captain Rex/Old Man Rex (Realistic Style) DIY Helmet kit

DESCRIPTION
Everyones favourite Clone Captain!
When we designed this helmet from scratch we wanted it to be as accurate and realistic as humanly possible, blending the Clone Trooper Phase 1 and Phase 2 Helmets together with Rex’s iconic weld marks. As we were figuring out how to do it we ended up saying: “Why don’t we just do what Rex did?” So that’s what we did! We designed both respective Phase 1 and Phase 2 helmets first, digitally chopped them up and pieced it back together! We think it’s one of the most realistic renditions out there.
Many versions of this helmet are impossible to fit over your head due to the size of the bottom hole and people design with removable parts that leave visible seems. We however wanted to stay true to it's original design so we found the sweet spot of widening the bottom hole without it looking too abstract, whilst retaining the neck collar.
Old Man Rex
Our new Rangefinder design lets you add it or leave it off so you have to option of wearing the helmet as Old man Rex (sans Rangefinder) or young (with rangefinder). If you’d like to install, simply remove the comm block, drill a hole in the ear and use an M4 bolt with washer and nut in the inside of the helmet.
Actual raw 3D Printed parts received are:
• Main helmet x 3 parts (Front, back and dome)
• Vocoder (x 2 parts)
• Ear Commlink Block
• Rex Greeblie (x 2 parts)
Rebreather (x 2 parts to add real wire mesh + X 2 alternate textured versions)
• Rangefinder Head, Stalk, Inner, outer, threaded bolt.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
• NOW WITH VISOR INCLUDED!+ £15.00
Replacement grinder shield, flexible material and can be cut with scissors.
COLOURS
We always try our best to print parts in their respective colours however, depending on filament demand, some pieces may differ in colour. As the helmet will be prepped and painted however this doesn't matter.
SIZING
This helmet fits most adult male heads. If you believe you have a head larger than the average Uk male of 57.2 cm circumference (measured at the brow), then please add a note to your order or message us on Facebook and we can make arrangements to print larger.
HOW LONG?
Orders are printed on demand. We usually dispatch within 1-4 weeks. However depending on volume or print failures it can take up to 6 weeks so please bare with us.
