Tusken Raider The Book of Boba Fett Style DIY Helmet Kit
The fantastic Tusken Raider! This is a very similar kit based on our extremely popular 'A New Hope' style Tusken but with some subtle changes to be more accurate to TBOBF and with a Brand New and improved design.
Key differences are: Binoculars are bigger, less conical and more cylindrical, with no slits. Top spikes are shorter and thicker, top spike placement has been relocated to be higher. A smaller and more shapely snout allowing for the leather wraps. New holes in the cheeks to allow for easier placement of the blood spitters. Hole eyes are larger allowing for the Binos to be thread and glued from the inside. Blood splitters and binos have bases.
The helmet is also now split in half with join holes so you have the option to weld together as one piece or thread elasticated ribbon through the holes to stretch over your head allowing for a tighter more accurate fit.
*Please Note - This is a raw 3D printed kit. The first photos are what you can make on your own from this kit. The parts will need to be assembled, filled, sanded and painted and the fun really is all in the build!
Fabric and leather is not included. Actual 3D printed parts received are:
• Main helmet (x 4 parts; Front, back, dome and snout)
Accessories:
• Binoculars x 2
• Nose
• Blood Spitters x 2
• Head Spikes x 4
• Respirator
• Respirator End Pieces
We're very proud of this helmet!
The only parts that need to be post-processed are the accessories themselves. The helmet gives you the perfect base to add leather and fabric wraps. The helmet also comes in three parts and can either be glued as one piece or you can add flexible fabric in-between to allow for more movement. It also comes with the respirator and end pieces so all you need is 5mm diameter bendable aluminium tubing.
SIZING
As this is more of a mask than a helmet, we modelled it to be more like a second skin (with a little breathing room) so not to appear too large once fabric is added. This helmet fits most adult male heads. If you believe you have a head larger than the average Uk male of 57.2 cm circumference (measured at the brow), then please add a note to your order and we can make arrangements to print larger.
HOW LONG?
Orders are printed on demand. We usually dispatch within 1-4 weeks. However depending on volume or print failures it can take up to 6 weeks so please bare with us.
