Wolverine Cowl (90's Animated) DIY Helmet Kit (X-Men: The Animated Series/X-Men '97)

The cigar smoking, straight talking, motorcycle riding, weapon X embodying, adamantium skeleton coating, razor sharp clawing, Canadian Mutant bad ass himself; Wolverine! (And ahem… the Best X man!)
Logan is my nephews namesake and my sister and I grew up watching the X men cartoon together every Saturday morning so he’s a character close to our hearts. When everyone else was printing the ‘Deadpool Vs Wolverine’ live action one, we wanted to create a proper animated style version of his iconic cowl and bring it to life.
As it is a rigid helmet and to achieve a snug fit, the main yellow cowl is separated into three parts to get it on and off your head, as well as each black fin and chin strap and it all joins together with 132 x (10mm x 2mm) Flat disc style Neodymium magnets. We recommend high grade magnets with a pull of 2kg. If you use these you will only need half the amount of magnets! The chin strap joins with 12 x (4mm x8mm) cylindrical neodymium magnets. Please note if we scale the size of the helmet you will need to adjust the magnet sizes.
All parts are separated for easier building and painting. The only place you’ll need to mask is th yellow nose stripe which is joined onto the right fin.
Parts included are:
• Cowl x 3 parts - Left, Right and Central
• Fins x 2 parts - Left & right (Textured, Smooth or both)
• Chin Strap (Textured, Smooth or both)
• Eyes

You will need:
132 x (10mm x 2mm) Flat disc style Neodymium magnets. We recommend high grade magnets with a pull of 2kg. If you use these you will only need half the amount of magnets! The chin strap joins with 12 x (4mm x8mm) cylindrical neodymium magnets. Please note if we scale the size of the helmet you will need to adjust the magnet sizes.
We also recommend fibre glassing the inside of the yellow cowl around the eyes as this area is thin and with prolonged use will need extra strength adding.
• The Fins can come as Textured Leather or Smooth Finish.

COLOURS
We always try our best to print parts in their respective colours however, depending on filament demand, some pieces may differ in colour. As the helmet will be prepped and painted however this doesn't matter.
SIZING
This helmet fits most adult male heads. If you believe you have a head larger than the average Uk male of 57.2 cm circumference (measured at the brow), then please add a note to your order or message us on Facebook and we can make arrangements to print larger.
HOW LONG?
Orders are printed on demand. We usually dispatch within 1-4 weeks. However depending on volume or print failures it can take up to 6 weeks so please bare with us.
